Updates

We believe in transparency. Below are the latest updates in our ongoing challenge to the CQC’s unfair and inconsistent report.

03 April 2025 – CQC Response Ignoring Evidence

Despite submitting a detailed factual accuracy challenge, highlighting clear procedural failings, factual inaccuracies, and scoring errors:

  • The CQC acknowledged some of our points but did not revise a single score.

  • Scores for the “Safe” and “Well-Led” domains remained at 38% and 36%, which by their own guidance should have rounded to “Requires Improvement,” not “Inadequate.”

  • Instead of adjusting the ratings, the CQC appeared to reallocate or remove scores to maintain a pre-determined “Inadequate” outcome.

14 August 2025 – Refusal to Review

  • The CQC has refused to review or amend our rating, despite clear evidence of bias and error.

  • During the October 2024 inspection, we were advised by a senior CQC representative to “not bother” challenging certain warnings—guidance we followed in good faith. That advice is now being used against us, with the CQC stating the appeal window has passed.

  • A promised re-inspection in December 2024 never occurred. When chased in January 2025, we were told of “delays.” Instead of rescheduling, the CQC published the report as it stood.

  • Over 12 months later, no follow-up inspection has taken place, leaving damaging and inaccurate conclusions in the public domain.
